The couple exchanged vows in a deeply emotional ceremony under a large, ancient tree in their garden, with the wonderful celebrant Tamryn Settle officiating. The setting was nothing short of magical—a perfect blend of natural beauty and heartfelt emotion. The tree, with its expansive branches providing a natural canopy, created an intimate and serene atmosphere that perfectly framed this moment of unity. It was a quintessential Surrey at-home wedding, filled with charm and sophistication.

Garden Drinks Reception

Following the ceremony, guests were treated to a delightful champagne and canape reception on the terrace, which offered breathtaking views of the lush garden. The relaxed yet refined ambiance allowed everyone to soak in the beauty of the surroundings while celebrating Emily and Hugh’s love. It was a moment to savor, filled with laughter, joy, and the clinking of glasses as the couple’s nearest and dearest toasted to their happiness.

English Summer Wedding Breakfast

On the lawn, a single, long table was elegantly set under parasols, ready to host the special meal. Details were very important with luxurious linens and exquisite tableware setting the tone, but it was the romantic, quintessentially English floral centrepiece that truly stole the show. The arrangement, abundant with seasonal blooms, in cream and pinky tones. The flowers, handpicked for their seasonality and natural beauty, cascaded gracefully down the centre of the table, creating an enchanting, garden-inspired focal point. This lush display added a touch of timeless elegance, perfectly complementing the natural beauty of the garden and the couple’s love story.

The meal itself was a highlight of the day. Prepared by the talented executive chef Ryan Stafford, the menu was a perfect reflection of an English summer. Guests were treated to Cabanero Prawns Toasted Over Open Fire to start, followed by a sumptuous main course of Dorset Lamb Fillet and Shoulder with a variety of seasonal accompaniments. The meal concluded with an Oxfordshire Strawberry Eton Tidy, featuring Strawberry and Amalfi Lemon Consommé and Strawberry Sorbet—a dessert as refreshing as it was indulgent.

As the sun set, the evening unfolded with live acoustic music, creating a relaxed, festive atmosphere. Guests lingered over a cheese table, sipping champagne and lounging on comfortable garden furniture. It was the perfect ending to a day that was all about love, connection, and the simple pleasures of life.
